25 weeks

How far along? 25 weeks. I can't beleive we have less than 100 days!
Total weight gain/loss: 16.5 lbs
Maternity clothes? for now they are very comfortable. I got a huge stash of maternity clothes from one of my aunts so I have a large selection but most of the shirts are still a little big, I'm sure that will change very soon.
Stretch marks? I'm hoping that cocoa butter works it's magic for the next 15 weeks. I still have none.
Sleep: I feel like I can never get enough sleep.
Best moment this week: We started the baby registery this past weekend!
Movement: She was very calm Friday afternoon and Saturday but she made up for it on Sunday.
Food cravings: nothing really
Gender: miss priss
Labor Signs: i think I've had a few Braxton Hicks but I don't really know what they feel like so I don't know if it's just the baby in an awkward position or if its really Braxton Hicks
Belly Button in or out? Not an outie yet
What I miss: Being active all day and not being completely exhausted by the end of the day.
What I am looking forward to: Our doctor's appt this Friday.
Weekly Wisdom: Babies are expensive!!! I couldn't beleive the price of some of stuff that you don't even get to use very often or for very long.
Milestones: less than 100 days!

Awww. Thanks for the comment.

Congrats on the pregnancy and the little girl! How fun! Maybe one day we will get a little girl too.. (maybe).

And yes.. Keep the Cocoa Butter on that belly. 2-3x a day if you can. I really swear by it. I used it and never got a single stretch mark.. and that's coming from someone that had a 24 inch waist that went all the way out to 45 inches.

I'm sure that you have friends that will tell you this, but I have a few things to share with you regarding the baby stuff...

Some of that silly stuff out there makes no difference to babies.

However, I have realized that the following were essentials items for us.

-Diapers and Wipes (duh)... Pampers Swaddlers with the little tee tee lines are great when they are first brought home. Sometimes the tee tee is hard to spot and it's nice to know that they are going as much as they need to. We also go with the Huggies wipes -scented is the way to go if possible.

-Changing Pad with a diaper caddie next to it as well as the Diaper Genie II.

-Bouncer Seat is a MUST. It's great to carry to different rooms with you because you will need to sit her down every now and then. If you can, get one with dangling toys. I like the Fisherprice, Precious Planet one with toys hanging down. They start to grab at things much earlier than other babies.

-If you are going to use bottles, the MAMS are great!!! They are cheap, they vent air and they resemble a mothers nipple. I also recommend the Members Mark Formula at SAMS.. if you are going to go that route and Miss Priss's tummy isn't too bad. It's the same as Enfamil Gentelease, but it's $25 for a HUGE HUGE can.

- The CHEAPEST bath tub will work just as well as the most expensive one. Too bad I didn't learn this before hand.

-My Kyah hates his swing, so be sure and test one out if you can, before you spend the money. Lately I haven't found many babies that like them... weird huh?

-When she is first born it's nice to have the little Gowns. It makes night time changing SO much easier and they don't wake up as much. Snapping things in the dark is a pain :)

I'm sure I could go on and on all day but I am sure you get the point by now.
Just enjoy it!!! It's SUCH a great time!
