How far along? 13 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: plus 1.5lbs total
Maternity clothes? Still wearing the bella band with my pre-pregnancy pants.
Stretch marks? Not yet
Sleep: Not so great. I started to come down with a cold (or early signs of the flu) over the weekend and its hard to breath when your nose is stopped up and your chest is congested so sleeping has been rough since I cough so much.
Best moment this week: Squirt attended his/her first LSU football game!
Movement: getting closer to that time
Food cravings: anything
Gender: only 4 more weeks until we find out.
Labor Signs: none
Belly Button in or out? still in
What I miss: Nothing really, just enjoying the moment.
What I am looking forward to: Our vacation in Arkansas next week.

Milestones: Done with the 1st trimester

It's raining, it's pouring (ok maybe not pouring)

But it finally rained a little at our house yesterday afternoon. It hasn't rained since June 2nd. So we went 3 weeks without any rain. And it's been over 100 degrees every day so we were in desperate need of a little water. It didn't rain long but we got about a 1/2" of rain. I'll take anything at this point. I cut the grass last Friday and it was nothing but dust. I could barely see as I was cutting. Anyway, we were very excited about the rain last night. We just need it to rain a few more times and we can start working on our landscaping around the new patio. The ground is so hard right now that we can't even plant anything.

And on anther note, how 'bout them Tigers? If you missed the LSU vs. Texas game last night then you missed a great game. The Tigers pulled it off in the 11th inning (7-6). GEAUX TIGERS! I can't wait to see this after we stomp Texas again tonight and take home the world series championship.

It's about time...

Well finally ESPN has decided to show the LSU vs UNC baseball game. Tommy and I went to Chili's last night to hang out and watch the game and after half of an inning there was a rain delay. So we waited a while and after the announcer said the game would not resume until 8:30 (it was 7:00 at the time) we decided to head home. So at 8:30 the decision was made to postpone the game until today. Well, just our luck. It started raining again and they had an hour or so rain delay tonight. But I'm happy to report that the game is FINALLY on. However LSU is losing 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth. So we have some work to do for the next 5 innings! GEAUX TIGERS!

On another note, we finally got out lawn mower back from the repair shop and I was able to cut the grass without blowing black smoke all over the yard. We had our TV at the repair shop, our lawn mower out of service, and a crew building a shop for the back yard. Its been hard to live without a TV for a few weeks but we finally have everything, the lawn mower, the TV, and the shop!! Hopefully nothing else breaks anytime soon.

Well I'm off to cheer on the Tigers.
